ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE - "IMPOSSIBLE AIRFIELD"

IT WAS JULY...

I was deployed to the deep jungle in upper Queensland for an amazing mission - to spend time with the Royal Australian Air Force and document their experience building an airfield from scratch in the dense jungle to land a giant C-17 Globemaster in 36 hours time.  I loved this project, and even came home with a medal from the Air Chief Marshal.  Honored.
