SO, IN REAL LIFE...

This stunt was all done practically by my amazing team - there are no special effects.  Bojan Bazelli was on the lens - Kimo Proudfoot, Martin Schaer, and Luka Bazelli as operators.  Evan Rohde and Gill Gayle designed the set.  Per the agency concept, I needed to figure out how to pull four stories of cars out of the ground!  Trying to build traditionally and demo was out of the question and too expensive.  Cut to me having a revelation at the Coachella music festival staring at a band on the main stage, when I realized that the size, structure, and weight limitations of the stage was perfect for our concept.   By Monday we were on the line with the vendor.  Shot in the OC Blimp Hangar, we rebuilt the Coachella main stage inside the space!  This live stunt involved multiple layers of stage and production, 10 cameras, an underground railroad track, lifts, grip, and rock and roll to pull off in real time, and we did it.  We surprised five focus groups that day.  Proud of this one - this is dead real, and Evan Rohde needs to win awards.
